We've struggled to manage our dog after she recently had a mast cell tumor removed on her leg and neck. The plastic cone supplied by the vet sent her into a frenzy , trying to dislodge it , causing injury to her, our home and much stress. Our failure to keep the cone on her and her dislike of it meant we spent a week stressed , trying to stop her licking the wound, which was left uncovered by the vet to heal faster. The inevitable result being it was healing slower and causing more distress and lack of sleep while we slept downstairs to keep a check on her. This was such a good buy and resulted in a dramatic change. We bought a wound pad from boots to place short term over the area after cleaning with salt water and then put this on her. She is now contentedly asleep

My older 14 year old Black white Lab Pit mix tore his ACL and there was no way I was going to do surgery in a dog his age. He couldn’t bear any weight at all on his back legs. Very sturdy material, similar to my wetsuit so it seems to stretch and mold to the animal instead of pinch. Straps are very thick webbing and stitching is holding after a month straight of use. My Dads 80 lb yellow lab slipped a disk and couldn't use her back legs well, which made her tip over constantly. I bought this for her so he could take her to the bathroom and do therapy. As he worked with her, she healed enough to only need the front part, which he left on all day adjusting the straps short to grab them up if needed. Even used this in pool therapy and it held up! Highly recommended, especially like how it's 2 seperate pieces to use as needed.

Our dog has difficulty getting his hind legs under him to stand up. These braces provide him more stability and he is much more mobile now. The braces are easy to put on and they do not seem to bother him at all.

Our pup woke up one day with lame hind legs. When we learned he’d never regain the use of his legs we ordered this wheelchair. At first he wouldn’t try to move in it. After the third time in it, he’s back on “security detail”- all 12lbs of him! Lol We love this because he loves it and we see how happy he is to have a form of mobility that we’d believed was gone forever. We’re looking forward to the spring so he can get back to chasing those ever elusive birds and squirrels!

Our elderly border collie had a burst abscess on his elbow and I needed to stop him licking it. I had tried bandages, which he was able to either undo or move down. I made a couple DIY covers using old ankle socks and sewing elastic to go round his chest. This works well, but I needed more than a couple. I then looked on line for something similar. I thought this looked the best available and I was right. It is very easy to use, is well made and does the trick. It is not waterproof so the mud etc gets through, but means it is breathable. It is perfect and is a lifesaver. Doesn't look silly on when he is walked. I would recommend and I am able to get it on even when he is laying down.

We were heartbroken to see our dog with dammed Cone Of Shame, we couldn't walk properly, play, eat or anything.. and the way he looked at us.. OMG that was the killer! We tried several other products that promised the same but only this one achieved the goal! It was very easy to put and roll up for our dog to go that he will actually will wait for us to pull it up and roll it down every single time. Is like he understood this was way better than the cone!
